Vintage purse made from sterling silver. Originally a silver coin evening purse this hallmarked case would be a decadent accessory as a business card or credit card holder. It has three separate internal sections which could be used for change, notes or cards. Marked for sterling on the inside in several places this evening case also has an individual inventory number of 2479 and a makers mark of TB with what appears to be an arrow through it.

Made during the early 1900's this purse is heavily decorated with a high relief floral decor on both sides. This art nouveau purse has the initials of the previous owner embossed on one side R M J, it has a blank cartouche on the other. The latches are strong and its snaps shut tightly making it an ideal functional piece as well as being aesthetically stunning. A great addition to your evening bag collection or as a business card holder for the discerning lady. This would make a great christmas or birthday gift.
